This is an amazing engineering dating back to the old ages. Norias or known as water wheels are very ancient, funtion to carry waters from the river up onto aquaduct or canals well above which lead to various quarters of the city.The Norias diameter can be up to 21 metres and contain upto 120 boxes to carry the water up onto the collecting aquaduct well above the water level.
