With the summer, comes the long day hours. The most daunting part of this period is the late prayer times. Maghrib is at 10 pm and Isya at 12 pm. When Ramadan falls during the middle of the summer in a not distant future in a few years time, that will be a time of real test. I remember back in the 80's doing that for four straight summers. I can't remember any of my friends uttering any complaint. Everybody just did it.

And look at where there are now, Bro A? At the pinnacle of success in their careers and chosen fields (including your goodself!)... ;)
Alhamdullillah, due to all your perseverance, diligence and extreme patience like in performing simple but obligatory religious rituals as Fasting while cramming for your degrees in the British 'Ivory Tower' during those good old days, you all deserved all good tidings which have come your ways by the Will of Allah.. :)
P.S. My son who'll sit for his 'O' Levels next year has finally made up his mind that he wanna become a Geologist.:P I just realised that geologists and geophysicists are
amongst top earning professionals these days.. What with oil and gas slowly depleting more and more.. :(
Nowadays there are so many distractions for our youths. The level of 'preseverence' might be different as well. But given the choice, I envy what the youths of today are receiving and experiencing in terms of facilities and oppotunities.
Anyway success is difficult to define.
Well done to your boy for the interest. I can only encourage. We need people like him as doers and actually help to find much needed resources for our beloved country.
